Most drinks that aren't water have hundreds of calories in them

Most white collar workplaces practically give everyone free food multiple times a week via company lunches, dinners, leaving food in the break room etc.

There is a lot of shitty dieting advice that keeps people fat

Unless you actively watch your calorie intake and actively avoid foods that aren't filling it's easy to become overweight in the developed world
