This post is derived from my personal experience using debloating techniques and the percieved effects I have seen from them. Obviously there are many posts highlighting the best practices to debloat, as well as the benefits corrolated to it, however this will be broken down in both a time scale and metric system of which is most efficient.

1. Cardio - THE BEST 10/10
Cardio is the #1 way to reduce having a bloated look, from the obvious reduction of excess body fat, as well as decreased water beneath the skin. Those of you who regularly do cardio have likely recognised you look the leanest, have more hollow cheeks and debloating around the face due to reduced water retention via sweat and lower insulin levels. The movement of muscles also motivates the lymphatic system in the body to remove excess fluid out of the tissues. If you're 18% body fat or above you should be doing minimum 4 hours a week of moderate intensity exercise. I.E Treadmil/bike/etc with 115-140hr.

2. Sleep - Looksmax 101 10/10

Poor sleep increases systemic inflammation, which can cause fluid to accumulate in tissues.
It also links to increases stress hormone produciton: High cortisol → water retention, salt sensitivity → bloating.
Sleep affects appetite-regulating hormones Ghrelin and Leptin → cravings for salty, processed foods → more sodium → more water retention.

Good sleep supports growth hormone secretion, which indirectly aids fluid regulation.

3. Potassium - THE EASIEST 8/10

If you live in a western country or don't eat clean food you likely have a moderate to high sodium intake. Sodium triggers several processes resulting in fluid being dispursed into interstitial spaces under the skin. The retention of this fluid results in a significant visual bloating of the face. This can be counteracted via potassium intake. Potassium Increase intracellular osmolarity and reduces interstitial fluid sitting between tissues. Potassium can be consumed through foods with high content, such as banana, avocado, potatoes, citrus juice, spinach etc.

It is recommeneded to consume 3:1 ratio potassium:sodium or roughly 4000mg per day. However more is optimal, if you can achieve a 5:1 ratio its more optimal, but attempt to not do it only through tablets, but diet too; 1:1 Ratio seems good for this imo.

Taking potassium tablets can be of aid to meet this ratio, however it is worth noting that if a tablet states 1500mg, it likely only contains 500-800mg of elemental potassium that you body uses for this function. Therefore 3 of these per day (1500-2400mg), a glass of juice in the morning (I specifically like prune juice because it contains double the dose of others, aids for gut digestion and is drank through a straw to avoid browning/decay of the teeth) 1000mg, banana (420mg) in a protein shake and one meal relient on high potassium foods i.e Sweet potatoes (700mg) and Chicken. This should hit somewhere between (3620-4520mg).

<IMPORTANT> NOTE FOR FAT FUCKS: If you're 18% body fat don't attempt to eat more calories just to adhere to this, eat less, and focus on reducing sodium.

4. Diuretics - 6/10

Long story short, this aids kidney function and stimulates urination so unwanted fluid (mainly water) in the body is more quickly eliminated from the body. IMO I take this as part of a stack, but its suboptimal compared to sleep, diet and exercise. If you are looking for an additional boost however Potassium-sparing diuretics such as Spironolactone or Amiloride work well, although difficult to get.

5. Guasha - PURE COPE 3/10.

It works for a short period of time, however the effects are virtually pointless for the output. Better to focus on the others. Only worth doing if there is trapped fluid in your face which is unable to leave besides this. Not worth incorporating on a daily basis imo.
