Need haircut advice

I’ve had numerous posts on how to looksmax getting a beard, clear skin and losing face fat. But today I need advice on a haircut. I’ve got a square face shape. I’ve tried a buzz before and it looked horrid seems my head dimensions isn’t good for it I looked like an egg. Also tried long hair and numerous different curtain styles which have worked but don’t think is optimal . I have a decent hairline. I’m 18 5ft 8 at uni so what would be the highest appeal haircut in this age range which girls would like.

Black or dark brown dye? I feel like dark brown one I use now isn’t good enough
