I’m telling you and going to keep telling you networking is so fucking important and useful. It sounds kinda redpill but it’s true

This semester I focused on growing and expanding my network and it’s paying back fucking dividends. I’ve literally been invited to like 7 NYE parties, I’m in talks with firms for a summer internship, I literally say hi to like everyone when I’m walking around anywhere on campus, it just makes you seem super likable and people will be gravitated to you.

It’s also a huge halo to do that on dates. Literally just introduce yourself to people everywhere, it’s very easy after a few times. At bars, academic clubs, your classes, parties, in public honestly. I cannot state this enough.

Talk to people.

Well depends on what the topic is but my general strategy is to either go in with a compliment and/or question

For one, people love to feel smart and talk about themselves. Like if it was something career related I’d probably go in with

“Hey excuse me I couldn’t help but notice you’re at this company/ or club xxx. Think you could answer a few questions?” And then from they’re you’ll talk and exchange info

If it’s more social you have a lot more options, I’m not even joking when I say I’ve rolled up to popular guys in a party and just tapped them on the shoulder and said bro I fuck with ur outfit, guys are easy going.

Also it’s even easier once you start to build it because those ppl will introduce you to others and then they’ll do the same and so on and so on

In general, people love to talk about themselves and feel like they’re helping you or feel complimented. Play of that.
