I read something like this on reddit and I really liked it, because it did happen to me and I didn’t know that this was a neurotypical phenomenon.
When often I got asked by a „neurotypical“ that we should hangout sometime or do this sometime, I believed it and wanted to do it.
But in reality very rare something actually did happen.
I don’t know if they even had the intention of actually doing something or make plans.
Eventually they just feel good about themselves by saying this phrase.
Aspie me really thought that people wanted to make plans
