I like and I need raw milk.
I enjoyed over 200 liters of raw cow milk, fermenting it into clabber, and drinking it for hydration, detox, DHA (for avoiding ageing at high latitude), and facial bones growth.
Recently I ordered raw goat milk. It was more expensive than cow milk, I thought it is supposed to be better, and various people gave me their casual remarks of how it's the best and better than cow milk.
In the end it was lacking any fat. It is as if it was skimmed milk. If I were to guess it's fat percentage, it would be 1 or 0.5 grams per 100 ml. As compared to full fat cow milk which has 4 grams.
There was no cream at the top when I poured it the first time into my glass jars, which gave me a surprise. Then, when I tried to ferment it into clabber, it became pure whey 95 percent of the jar, and the remainder was liquidy thin kefir. Exactly like skimmed milk would do.
I thought I was scammed and insulted and threatened the farmer to return me 2,000 rubles at least (I paid 3,800).
Now, I ordered raw goat milk from another farmer, to check if it's a common phenomenon, or the initial farmer was indeed a scammer or possibly a stupid person who fed their goat grains or some bs like that.
Now, I've got my 6 liters of goat milk from another farmer.
Guess what?
It is fatless.
Now I have to apologize to my original farmer, and say I don't need the return (even though I pressured her successfully).
I won't hold myself back from commenting on their retardation of keeping goats, just to get out of them sugar water, when cows are available.
