18,000 steps today with 7 hours left in the day and i havent left my home. just walk around basement listening to music and browsing looksmaxx all day. never stop

I've come across a bunch of studies that say your body just recalibrates to expend the same amount of energy if your exercise all the time.

All I do is count calories and do more normal workout a few times a week, and some walking. Basically I do the exercise I enjoy but nothing more.

But exercise may stunt hunger a little bit, I don't know. Maybe it still works.

I try to burn 2000 calories from walking on the pedometer and eat only 2.5k a day. That way I can get 200g of protein while starvemaxxing

when leanmaxxing i just used to sit on the indoor bike all day while scrolling social media
I hate cardio but watching tiktok while doing it makes it doable atleast

I got to 8:29 and realized this video isn't worth a watch.

He's lean because he's on steroids, but that doesn't mean he doesn't know what he's talking about.

But he's commenting about a study he hasn't read. The Hadza tribe study measured calories burned with a device over the mouth and nose that measures C02 exhalation, that the tribe wore all day and night. That's the gold standard, most accurate possible way to measure calories burned.

There's also other studies that came to the same conclusion.

If he's not familiar with the research, this invalidates everything he says.

The way he compares things isn't scientific either, comparing tribal people who are lean with the modern Westerner, when the two have completely different diets, genetics, and lifestyles but acting as if "exercise" is the reason.

Again, he's lean because he's on roids, and hasn't even read the scientific literature he's ignorantly commenting on.
 
The best thing for me besides a big deficit was also switching all the food that I could to lower cal verisons, specifically only consuming fat free dairy, carbs from fruit only, lean meats etc
