Niche is something that changes itself gradually, i noticed a pattern that a large majority of people seemingly stick to one niche throughout years of their life. This won’t work well in the long run because your niche isn’t meant to be part of your real identify. (as hard as that might be to comprehend) niche should change itself gradually within literal weeks, to make a niche part of your actual real identity is going to handicap you. Especially if your niche isn’t eccentric at all and it’s just another individualized aesthetic/personality that you found out about on the internet and tried to implement its niche unto yourself… You have to make your own niche by taking different aesthetic elements and real world elements, not by copy and pasting whatever aesthetic you find regardless of its obscurity.

But im going off the rails here, essentially what im trying to explain is that your niche should never be above you and it should never be part of you for too long. Always change it up and always make sure your niche is entirely eccentric and calls upon itself to change and mold itself as the weeks go by. You are not a blank canvas, but you can tinker with shading and colors and whatever else to make “you” come off differently. But what will be the point if you decide to go with one thing forever?

Normies do change their niches but they never go deep into it and their niche is always whatever has already been created they never seem to try to create something new and for years they will stick to the same exact thing

Also…
Im using the term ‘niche‘ here a bit different from its actual meaning also, so what i mean by niche is you probably already stick to some kind of aesthetic/try to give off a feeling about one’s self and this is what i like to call niche because every person and thing on earth has its specific feeling/niche attached to it which makes it its own aesthetic and thus adds obscurity to it… basically then you could call niche just the feeling you give off to others around you. It doesn’t change what you are and what you will be perceived as, but it changes the over-all feeling people get from you and thus adds a layer of individualism to your character

holy trendhopper
As i’ve explained you aren’t to follow trends but create your own aesthetics and niches gradually through collaging and irony
