->eat sugar/starch
->becomes glucose
->goes into cells for energy
->excess is stored
->requires water to store
->bloat

this is why sugar and starch bloat, glucose os first stored in muscles, then its stored in the face, if one eats 100g sugar and can only store 50g in his muscles the other 50g will be stored in teh face, thus more muscles = less facial bloat, if you want to debloat you need bigger muscles

If your liver and all your muscles are glycogen saturated including your face muscles like the buccinator muscle it may look like bloat.

But the number 1 cause of bloat is sodium as it pulls water from your cells beneath your skin and also into your bodyfat because bodyfat also is partly water.
