Study genes boyo,
My point exactly no normies are doing that shit. If you wanna do that then east Africans (Somalis Ethiopians Eritreans) re proto Nilotic and 60% west eurasian but guess what? Nobody fucking cares they're black end of the day
also if you have eyes you can tell the difference, we have the same genetic composition as iran, and heck we even look european sometimes,
Exceptions don't make the rule, again you may look west Asian but only a very small % will look remotely euro

Yes, there aren’t many of them in the country. I believe they originated in southeastern Pakistan and migrated to Haryana (east of Punjab).

Yes, I know you’re mixed. I was talking about Ror. Who are the OG Gurjars/Gujjars? The ones in India or Pakistan? I think most live in Pakistan, don’t they?

i used to believe that too but sindh origin only works for jatts other high steppe caste it doesn't work

i can't remember but there was an inscription of bhati rajput giving land grant to "or" (ror) "gujjar" people

they were probably pastoralist which explains their high steppe.

We have some places named after Gujjars/Gurjars here. Gujrat is a good example. (Not to be confused with Gujarat).

I didn’t know about the Sindh theory until I was reading that. But it makes sense. Jats/Rors must have migrated along the Indus River as they were pastoralists and then got a second wave of Steppe when they settled in Haryana. That’s why they have high Steppe. But we don’t know what exactly they mixed with when they reached Haryana.

yeah some rors believe it too, there is a town called alor it was near the ancient brahmanabad of sindh which rors claim to be their origin.

the sindh theory developed from arabic sources on alzutt.

their migration could be from rajasthan gujarat or anywhere else sindh origin works for jutt as arabic sources describe them in detail.

I’m an ancient Indian, not a modern-day Indian.

It’s a bit confusing. But what is now Pakistan was ancient India during the time of the Greeks.

Modern-day India =\= ancient India.

I think the town is called Aror. Rajasthan might work, but Gujarat wouldn’t. If you look at a South Asian PCA plot, Gujaratis are in the middle with other Gangetic populations, but some Rajasthanis are on the right side of the plot with other Indic populations, near Gujjars and Sindhis.

Unrelated but my family is watching some Indian Idols shit right now. :feelswhat:

some pakistani literati believe pakistan should have been named west india

Herodotus lived before Alexander the Great, I am not even sure if they had even visited South Asia at that point, I think it was only during the time of Alexander the Great that the Ancient Greeks were in South Asia. However, while they use the term “ancient India,” it was specifically modern-day Pakistan. That’s what I was referring to. Most people believe it refers to modern-day India. Another good example would be Panini, the great Sanskrit grammarian, he lived in modern-day Pakistan.

Gujarat wouldn’t really work since Gujaratis don’t appear on the same side of Western-shifted South Asians, unlike some Rajasthanis and Gujjars/Gurjars. Plus, Gujaratis are more Farmer-heavy and not Steppe-heavy, plus they have a lot more SAHG/AASI compared to Jats/Rors.

Punjabis are all over the place, some cluster with Dravidians, others are in the middle, and others are western-shifted. Punjabis are genetically very diverse.

South Asian culture is both similar and dissimilar in many ways. It mainly depends on what aspect of life we are talking about. My family has always been more open-minded though. I remember my family cursing the Portuguese once because they “colonized us,” and when I said “That was India, not Pakistan” to which they responded with “We shared a country once.” They are sem2sem victims. :feelswhat:

but megasthenes visited india and he describe it as quadrilateral of indus and ganga
i don't think panini used india anywhere but he lived in punjab

no but they were pastoralist who lived amongst gujratis but didn't intermarry we see this in pastoralist groups like romanis too and it probably included tribes of all regions in the way we can't really say.

plus even non rors of haryan have high steppe maybe its just that haryana has high steppe because the bharata tribe settled there after winning the war.

:lul: portuguese colonized areas get free portuguese citizenship and they use it too, maybe they think like that because of similar culture
