People have always been making fun of jumping to increase height, but I am here now to change this reality, and bring scientific studies that prove that jumping may be the most effective thing ever to increase height, so get ready this post will be very IQ.

Evidence #1: On completely healthy children (of normal height), a group that practiced jumping training (numbering 96), and a control group that did not practice anything (numbering 100), the results showed that those who practiced jumping were much taller than those who did not practice jumping, and a very significant statistical difference (the probability that the results are due to chance is almost non-existent).

Study #2: Young male mice were

made to jump "freely" only ten
times a day (a small number tostimulate length growth, although

it is effective for increasing bone
mass), and the result? A
significant increase in the length
of the tibia.

Study 3#
Note: D represents the jumping group, while the other groups are control, swimming, and running. The focus here is only on the results of the jumping group.

Initially, the tibia was approximately 9% longer, and the femur was about 9.5% longer in the jumping group (D).

Jumping exercise (group D) had large and clear effects on the growth plate of the tibia compared to the control group (C). A very significant decrease in the resting layer thickness was observed, from 106.40 to 79.95 µm (~25%), indicating a rapid transition of cells from the resting phase to proliferation and growth under the mechanical load of the exercise. The proliferation layer increased slightly but noticeably from 96.56 to 101.10 µm (~4.7%), reflecting moderate cellular activity. The most prominent effect was seen in the hypertrophic layer, which increased very significantly from 158.02 to 269.13 µm (~70%), indicating accelerated growth of terminal cells and increased bone length. Overall, the total growth plate length increased markedly from 360.98 to 450.18 µm (~25%), confirming that jumping exercise promotes longitudinal bone growth primarily by expanding the hypertrophic layer and accelerating cellular growth stages.

The number of hypertrophic chondrocytes also increased very significantly (~32%).

Regarding signaling pathway activation:
1. BMP2: increased very significantly (~68%), reflecting strong stimulation of bone formation and longitudinal bone growth.
2. Smad1: increased significantly (~53%), confirming activation of growth signals within chondrocytes.
3. Smad5: increased significantly (~52%), enhancing the hypertrophic stage of chondrocytes.
4. Smad8: increased very significantly (~92%), indicating the strongest activation of the BMP2 → Smad pathway.

In conclusion, the researchers stated that jumping exercise is highly effective in promoting bone lengthening

Honestly, this is the most
impressive proof for me of the
effectiveness of jumping. In this
study, mice aged 3 months and 6
months were tested (which is
considered quite old for mice,
and their growth had almost
completely stopped).
Surprisingly, in both groups (the
3-month and 6-month mice), the
tibia and femur showed very
significant growth. This means
that jumping literally reactivated
the growth plate which is truly
!amazing

Study 5#:
A study on children with idiopathic short stature conducted over 24 weeks (six months) showed remarkable results. During this period, the children with idiopathic short stature experienced growth equivalent to what a normal child would typically achieve in an entire year nearly 5 cm. This growth was about two and a half times greater than that of the control group of children with idiopathic short stature, and about three and a half times greater than that of the normal children in the control group, crazy results

The results sound crazy? Right? But science is science, if any one is interested i will till him whats the best jumping routine to enhance results.

estro blocker and idk about the bone stuff tbh
Estrogen blocker and idk about the bone stuff tbh
No, adding estrogen blockers won't do anything. Androgens directly accelerate bone aging through their receptors and interaction with vitamin D (only if they are at supraphysiological levels, but normal levels have no negative effect on bone aging).

Estrogen is one of the hormones responsible for growth plate closure so if you inhibit it then growth plates would take longer to close?

If you think you're smart, and you think you have a 0.00001 chance of winning an argument against me (which you certainly don't), then go ahead and present your arguments. I'm waiting.

Jumping for height bruhhh OP is an manlet

Short stature =/ normal person.
Even if this case study is legit (I haven’t even cared to read the abstract), then you cannot assume that jumping will also induce supernormal growth to beyond that of what was already your genetic potential.
These studies are also on mice, not humans.

It's in the name mate you don't need to "sound smart."

There's a reason the study specified it.

Short stature means you are SIGNIFICANTLY shorter.

You intellectually disabled person, do you think wordplay will work on me? Jumping leads to increased height through the flow of interstitial fluid on the chondrocytes, where this flow creates shear force on the chondrocytes and activates pathways such as cyclo-oxygenase-2 (COX-2), TGF-β, cyclic guanosine monophosphate, MAPK, NF-κB, SOX9. Can you explain how being short-statured would affect this? Also, you literally haven’t even read the first line of my post, where I literally said that there is another study on healthy children of normal height, JFL.”

I didn't read your entire post because it's rubbish from a retard

I read the replies and you asked what short stature is.

U called my retard because my knowledge its too high for u , right?

Tldr: jumping is very effective to grow taller ( if u have open gps ofc)
thanks, out of curiosity how long have you been doing the jumping exercises and how tall are you now

With nearly everyone debating you - no.

tbh there is some evidence that vibrations+load could actually increase the height of adults if done continiously. but you literally have to do it for YEARS to get like 1 inch.

Short stature standalone can mean a variety of things.
Idiopathic short stature is when there is no inherent justification as to why somebody is shorter.
If the study was regarding the latter group, then the adjective "idiopathic" would be used since clinical studies are not ever implicit. Non-idiopathic short stature can mean there are plenty of reasons such study would apply to only this particular group of people rather than the normal person.
