Then if you're isolated for a period of time even better because you'll have to learn to rely on yourself for fulfillment instead of others. You're nice because you want people to like you so badly and you don't want to be rejected by them. What you may not realize is that people, especially women, pick up on it very quickly and it turns them off of you. Nice guys are seen as having ulterior motives because by acting too nice, you're not coming off as genuine. It's just bothersome talking to somebody who clearly isn't saying what's truly on their mind and has no spine.
