I’ve just gone through a consult with my ENT yesterday and will have the final consult with my surgeon tomorrow.

I use nicotine pretty often (vaping 50mgs and zyns) and would like to know if any of you have had any complications with this particular combo.

(ENT advised against an open rhino since i’m only targeting a dorsal hump and maybe a few tip adjustments .
i’m considering closed too due to the lack of scarring and faster recovery time)

maybe ask doctor instead of org highschoolers?

I am going with his closed rhinoplasty’s advice but i’m not asking him since i went there with my mother who isn’t aware that i smoke.:feelsokman:

this forum used to have people who gave good answers
no, it always had clueless high schoolers advising clueless high schoolers like sheeps, writing bs wouldn't make people knowledgeable.

Doctors will always go with a standardized answer which is to avoid nicotine for 6 weeks prior and after but that’s only because they for
1: want to avoid any complications on their part
2: don’t consider the addiction factor in the equation
which is why i asked for anecdotal advice

mirin, will give it a read :y'all:(y)
Nigger gave himself the solution lmfao

Just stop doing it. I'm recovering from thoracic surgery right now and am officially 3 weeks nicotine free. Depends on how deep/disruptive the procedure is but don't use it until at least 2 weeks after surgery to ensure collagen production and oxygen will get sent to your wounds. You don't want to stunt your healing and risk an infection.
