It's always a gamble and even if you're the best candidate for it you could end up with stronger growth
Ideally it should be back, but thinner each time

I have done about 6 - 8 sessions so far, I can't remember the exact number.

There was a slight reduction in density but I can generally still grow a proper beard if I wanted. Now it stays close to clean shaven for two days so I don't have to shave every day.

Not to mention that shaving is just much easier now, no irritation.

and to answer your question, it feels slightly thinner, but close to how it was before
