Again, thats likely more a correlation than anything. Lets say you have 2GL guys, one nice guy and one dark triad guy. Dark Triad bro will probably win out through more risk taking behavior. Not if she knew about their qualities beforehand. Dark triads have more sex because they are lower inhibition, stick their neck out - on top of that, there may be a correlation between dark triad qualities and good looks. Girls are not inherently attracte to sociopathic behavior, that just isn't the case.

With that being said, status is a big part of true rating, and being dark triad will higher status while being a nice guy will lower status in initial stages.
