I disagree a little. It looks bad when somebody has no legs. Not to mention some chest, posterior chain for strength. But skipping legs/glutes all together? You need that balance and girls love it. With chest, I know some think it isn't a good muscle to work but you need atleast a little bit of chest and some form of pecs or that will also look silly

Awkward physque that looks significantly worse than one with a chest. Also training will be hard to program without legs and chest.

If you wanna be wider, instead of skipping legs, do compound lifts. It makes you wider because you're body is adapting to being under a ton of weight or picking it up. It hits your stabilizer muscles all around your body, and adds a different kind of stress on your muscles that dumbbells don't do. It works your posterior chain which dumbbells can't do, works your lats in a way that makes them wider, and makes your shoulders wider due to heavier load on the shoulders. When you do dumbbells only people tend to only hit the bro muscles and they don't look as strong overall. Compounds will give you a look that is just stronger and more functional. Also probably wider as well

The conventional wisdom of not skipping legs is a thing for a reason.

Glutes are important for posture

Do not skip legs. Just give them low priority, train them far less than your other muscles but do train them.

My arms, chest and shoulders all need to be about 20% bigger but my legs only need another 10% to fit ideal proportions.

agreed but hit spinal erectors too, they will make your posture always good and make tshirts not be baggy at the back

No decent bodyweight exercise for spinal erector is there? Basically deadlift only? I can do some Nordic curls but not sure it’s useful.

200g salmon, 60g protein in a shake, 100g sardines

Plus whatever my mom makes for the regular meals which is normally about 1500 calories and 40g protein. .

Hang on a bar and flex your glutes and spine erectors as if you want to rotate backwards on the and hold it as hard as you can, its brutal on spinal erectors

Will have a go. I don’t like hanging on bars much as I’m weak, would be nice to have one of those captains chair setups.

My parents are vegetarian so I can only eat fish. Fish also has some unique micronutrients like vitamin D from salmon for example.

So youre eating like 2.5k cals?

Plus copious amounts of alcohol that I need to stop this year since I’m getting surgery in about 12-15 months so need to max out my fitness.

It is where a lot of your body's strength and force comes from, and also plenty of chicks find nice legs really attractive. Just look at a group of chicks gawging at a dudes butt. Calves are also Attractive to a lot of people. Even in jeans you can see if someone has big legs

But I guess I can't make you believe it. So believe whatever

How many times a wk do you reccommend training legs and what excercises? Squats can cause shoulder pain. Also doesnt training legs take away your bodys ability to funnel nutrients to other areas like delts
