No shampoo

Hey guys im on my first month of no shampoo,
My hair isnt oily, its doing very good but i have a dandruff problem now,
I am not sure if it is dandruff or old oils etc,

But there's a lot, i wash my hair with cold water everyday and after it dries there is a snowfall everytime i touch my hair or scratch my head.
Its not completly white, almost a yellowish hue to it,

Anyone know what it is and if i should go back to using shampoo, because i never had dandruff when using shampoo.

Don’t be afraid of using warm/hot water, cold water probably isn’t doing any cleansing at all

Yeah i thought so, i was afraid of stripping all the oils using hot water

thats how you got the dandruff in the first place. 2 shampoos a week are miles better

Never was a problem for me. Get rid of the dandruff and try again(head and shoulders shampoo is pretty good)

for me i always had shitton dandruff because i just shampooed my hair and didnt apply conditioner.
i stopped using shampoo and i now exclusively use sulfate-free hair conditioner,

my hair feels so much better and healthier with the natural oils, and i dont have dandruff anymore

Been on no shampoo for about a year now, normally dandruff should go away in a few months. If your dandruff is yellow you probably have some fucked up bacterial infection on your scalp

Its not entirely yellow its maybe just the lighting and im too stupid to explain, can i just show you a picture if its not too disgusting for you

They dont really look yellow but they are still pretty large dandruff flakes, when i started no shampoo i only really had tiny snowflake dandruff. Try going at it for another month or two,if the dandruff gets worse you should probably quit

Alright thank you, and as i mentioned previously i have never washed my hair with hot / warm water after starting no shampoo.
Should i be washing my hair with warm water?

not sure if it matters but i usually shower with warm water
