No validation when we were young

I got a lot of validation, but the initial teenage and pre-teen phase was terrible, ergo, it didn't help much.

It was a mix for me. I had some girls like me but then others would call me ugly and make fun of my looks. I guess this is normal if you're in the average to low average range.
