Society keeps pushing this idea that if you don't conform to it you are labeled as a "lazy" person and looked down upon, but what does being "lazy" really mean?
First off, what does laziness mean?
Laziness is an emotional or mental disinclination to exert effort, characterized by a reluctance to work or engage in activities despite having the ability to do so.
In other words it means that you do not do something when you could do it. This type of behavior highly correlates with good risk management abilities.
Think about it.
Why would a lion run 5 miles for a single mouse? It wouldn't because it is irrational for it to waste so much energy for such a minimal reward.
Humans are the only animals that are made to feel guilty for resting (which is a big part of life) Society calls us lazy but in nature we would be called efficient.
Leisure = Good
The Romans viewed leisure, known in Latin as otium, as a vital, structured component of a balanced life, acting as the necessary counterpart to negotium (meaning non leisure used to describe, busy-ness, "business" and work).
Nowadays everything is different. We do not live to rest but live to work.
Society
Society tries to instill this "grindset" ideology into young people to ensure they stay obedient and keep providing the colony with "food"
Society has created a lie on the belief that your worth is determined by your productivity, this is very wrong.
"Lazy" individuals are actually very smart because they are among the few who actually revolt against the system.
If you do not want to do something you should not be forced to do it. If I do not want to eat dirt why should I do it?
If you want to do something you do it because of your internal motivation, in other words you do it because you enjoy it or have a reason to want to do it. Like me making this thread, I'm doing it because I enjoy it.
Nature shows us good examples of "laziness"
It is in our nature to conserve energy as that ensures our survival, we can see that in animals as well.

Psychology
When individuals face obstacles such as stress, inequality, not fitting in, and find that their efforts go unnoticed and do not lead to success, it results in a lack of drive. In reality it is a logical response to an environment that has repeatedly shown that one's actions do not matter.
In the past if you wanted to get dopamine you had to put in effort.
Now that our lives are flooded with cheap dopamine everything has become "pointless" as our dopamine levels are fucked due to everything being so easily available. There is no point to do something hard when we have tiktok, IG, goyslop, etc. In today's society we are essentially slaves.
Conclusion
Our society is so unfair (I don't have to tell you the reasons since this is water) that there is nothing we can do. We are essentially trapped in a game we didn't even choose to play and there is no way out for us.
We are not lazy and should not be called that way. Our laziness is what keeps us human and society wants to turn us into labor machines.

We are fucked because society deems us as lazy when it is not our fault and there is nothing we can do about it.
