Nobody lets me walk anymore

Bought me a new car last week. It's a Saab 9-3 hatchback. 2009 but in pretty good condition with no accidents and only one previous owner. Anyways, today I was out with the fam at an apple orchard enjoying some cider and doughnuts, cause that's what I really love to do in the fall season, and when we piled back into my new car it failed to start. After screaming like a lunatic, cursing up a storm, and turning the ignition again and again I finally got the darn thing started. After that I bought a pack of cigarettes while leaving the car running and smoked like a chimney while cursing all the way to the mechanic as my family sat there petrified. When I got there the mechanic told me I got electrical issues.

I took my family members home and then went back to the mechanic. Gave the keys to the desk man. He was a big baldy. I think I might be going bald too. Isn't that cool? Anyways, I digress (shout-out to the late No Joke Howard). As I was leaving the dealership baldy locks asked me If I got a ride home. I told him I didn't but it's alright and I can walk. He asked me where I lived. I told him it's a bit far and but no worries. He continued to pry and I admitted that it's 22 miles away, an 8 hour walk. Long story short he made a big fuss and told me he's gonna get his porter to give me a ride back. I hate it when people pry and make a big fuss. Guy named Josh gave me a ride home and here I am posting this story. This was about 5 hours ago. If it wasn't for that meddling baldy I'd still be walking right now. People suck.

Good on gas and has the hatchback. We got a collapsible push wagon for the boy and we use it a lot. Plus it was a good price and looked well taken care of. Still got my truck as well. They're just a means to am end though. Will be selling them both in a few months. Almost ready to go back overseas.

Yeah, I love long walks. Love to think about things over a long stretch of time going at my own pace with a road ahead of me. One time I walked almost 40 miles through mountainous hell, in flip flops with everything I own on my back, from Knoxville TN to LaFollette. @BigJimsWornOutTires knows the area I'm talking about. That was fun for about the first 15 hours, after that it was pure misery. Didn't even know if Memaw still lived there. It had been four years since I talked to her. She's been known to pack up her things and move to a different state on a whim. The whole last 8 hours of the journey I was just praying that she'd still be living there. It's a rural mountain town where she lives and I would have so so so fucked if she had left.

That's why you encourage black snakes. They eat the poisonous ones. But stupid me, I accidentally killed a few with a garden net. Those fucking snakes are retarded. They know if they venture into the garden, there's a net they must get passed. They see a skeleton of a black snake tangled in the net. So you would assume, "It would be best to avoid that garden." Nope. Stupid fuckers go for the easy meal anyway.

I wouldn't walk those roads. And I walked thousands of miles along the Gulf Coast, through bear countries, forests, gator infested swamps, and the Atlantic coastline. Those roads can lead to encounters with hungry bears, wild evil cats, retarded pit bulls, some farmer's demonic goat with blood dripping from its mouth, and the worst of all... idiot drivers.
