so i study everyday for my exams , 2 hours , i make so much flashcards like 500+ for my econ , and i fucking fail it and get a U. Everyone who didn’t study as much as me or barely done any done wayyy better than me.

I can’t go to uni now i have to retake it next year. there is no point because of my genetic potential, my iq is simply to low no matter how hard i work i will always be limited. I study for hours, memorise all the content but due to my low iq (inherited from my retard afghan dad) i have to rot and wagemin with a shit job becuase i can’t go to uni.

not for subjects like maths and economics, obviously that’s true for soycel subjects like history and politics what ever. but topics that need rational judgement and critical thinking are crucial to getting high paying jobs which will aid you in life mogging. Flashcards are a waste of time. If you want to memorise information, memorise it straight from the textbook. To memorise with a textbook, you should pick a line of text you want to read, read it, cover it with a piece of paper, write the line of text from memory a few times and check the covered line of text to see if you recalled the information correctly. Continuously repeat this process until you recall the information correctly.

You’re right that there’s a genetic component to IQ, I find that I’m able to understand highly complex concepts quicker than other people when I study. But I largely believe that the skill of efficient studying can be improved on over time.

I some places, like Singapore, exams are brutal, but if you check the details, it's very much about memorization. "Just be a living flash drive" theory. Real learning (not for simply dumping info from your brain during exam) requires understanding (why is that like that, why is that this way) and often practice (that will give you "aha! Now I see..." moments). Form of how knowledge is delivered is also important, and content with good structure and visualization is way better than a simple wall of text.

med school is easy though and doesn't require problem-solving skills or creativity, only requires memorization.
Most university studies are like that.

School is a brainwashing centre, getting good grades doesn’t mean high IQ it means you’re a good slave. Someone who’s actually smart will realise school is completely useless past age 11/12.
