"I’m not in opposition to them, but I do think their ideas are simplistic, and naïve, and promote a sad, reductionist, and distorted view of male sexuality and masculinity. The NoFap folks regurgitate a lot of old myths about how refraining from masturbation helps them to be more energetic, more sexual, more virile, and more manly. They’ve now paired it with the new modern worship of brain science, making lots of extrapolations on weak science to argue that porn has a disproportionate effect on the brain."-

"However, no scientific evidence suggests masturbation is harmful. Additionally, no studies state that avoiding masturbation offers any specific benefit. While some people may experience guilt following masturbation, perhaps due to cultural or religious beliefs, it is not a reason to feel shame. Masturbation is a common and normal habit. It only becomes an issue if interferes with work, social life, and regular activities."-(https://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/nofap-benefits#benefits)
"Abstaining from ejaculating for a few days may increase testosterone and improve sperm quality. However, there isn’t any research to back the other claims associated with not masturbating. Most experts agree that masturbation is a healthy and integral part of normal sexual development. ResearchTrusted Source shows that masturbation in childhood and adolescence among females is associated with a healthy self-image and positive sexual experiences later in life."

Can't find any reputable source say that nofap is anything except nonsense cope. The most I found was that heathline said it MAY increase testosterone (if you abstain for a few days) but that's not nearly enough of a reason to torture yourself with this.
