No its not, but wet dreams are annoying.
How long is long? I've done 9 months.
 
I almost masturbated today when I woke up, but everything worked out in the end. I feel more manly and powerful when I am on No Fap. My testosterone goes up for sure. Even my voice is deeper. I know this sounds crazy or fake, but it is not.

1/2 per week if it's sex, if nofap then once a month is the way to go
 
essentially, if abstention is continued for too long, the brain tells the pituitary glans to stop producing gonadotropins which are the hormones responsible for the signalling of testosterone production in the testicles, and therefore testosterone levels drop significantly. That is necessary to start the process of rearranging the damaged neurochemistry in your brain caused by porn, so you do not get horny and don't feel the temptation to indulge in consuming it. Once this hormonal suppresion happens (in my experience this signalled by the dramatic reduction in the frequency of nocturnal emissions), you should reset the production of testosterone by forcing sperm production, that is, by ejaculating. For this, you have to have sex, but in the absence of it the only way is by masturbating. Masturbation now should be mainly mechanical, with little help from the imagination. Masturbation will increase sperm (testosterone) production in the short term, and avoiding porn will in the medium/long term fix the reward mechanism associated to masturbation. Once everything is under control, you can keep a regular masturbation practice of 1/2 times per week for optimal abstention windows (5-10 days) with optimal testosterone production. Substitute that masturbation with sex whenever it is possible. DO NOT CONSUME PORN EVER AGAIN AFTER THIS. You won't feel the necessity tho if everything is done properly (no relapses during the process)

Masturbation, if done quickly and with no audiovisual stimulation, is the best substitute for sex. So, in reality, you should be ejaculating 1/2 times per week, either by sex or masturbation, in case sex is not available.

idk man 2-3 weeks of abstinence is the peak of hormones in my experience. My vitality at that mark speaks for itself
it is indeed different for everyone, but there is a study there that concluded that the peak of testosterone is achieved around the 7 day period. For me, 2 times a week is best at this moment.

yes I've experienced them in multiple occasions but the frequency of them starts rapidly decreasing the longer abstention is continued

went 6 months as an experiment could easily have gone longer but it was fucking up my sleep and aggression. Not worth it.
