Lower serotonin = higher dopamine. Maybe that's why he thinks it's good. Really low serotonin = Hyper dopamine, etc. That's why SSRI cause sexual problems cause serotonin gets too high and dopamine gets compromised.

Fap whenever you’re way too horny but try curb porn addiction fast. It’s not easy and you need to taper. If you’ve high T and dopamine you’ll realise how self aware you are (are becoming) and will naturally stop fapping/watching porn so often. To the point where you won’t even want to watch porn even when you’re horny and you’ll just fap to your imagination eventually and feel no need to watch porn. You won’t need the stimulus and when you fap you’ll be doing it in a more parasympathetic state which won’t fuck with your dopamine like PMO does.

Like any addiction I don’t think it’s really realistic for anyone to just go cold turkey and be successful. It’s a slow realisation where you’ll just have the motivation to not fap because you’ll realise that pleasure seeking is just detrimental long term.

A healthy dopamine network with high T levels = increased focus on the long term, and long term consequences in life. Like planning ahead and ENSURING you won’t be stuck in the same situation in the next 5-10 years.

A fucked and cucked dopamine system with low T (and incidentally higher than normal serotonin) will make you feel detached from need to act now to ensure your ambitions will become reality.

High serotonin and low dopamine will keep you cucked and more scared of non-important things in the short term (like making phone calls or fears that shouldn’t be holding you back… ie; being scared of what to say, increased short term anxieties that don’t have an influence on your long term goals)

High dopamine and low serotonin is like an anti-procrastination miracle. You’ll start doing everything and anything to ensure your success, and you’ll start giving up habits that hold you back. You’ll start planning your future and the only fears will be fears of failure in terms of your long term ambition. But what’s crazy is that once you fail, and everyone will, be it rejection, denied job application or something you’re working towards not working out and having a “set-back”; having high T and lower serotonin actually helps you keep going and figuring out what’s the next best thing to do, and you’ll act quick as if it’s vital to your survival.

What’s messed up with PMO and serotonin dominance is that it detaches people from ambition and lowers their self awareness immeasurably. Which is possibly why a lot of people end up fapping or rationalising it before a relapse, because we are really not as self aware as we should be, just neurochemically.

If you’re self aware and are working towards a path you’re adamant on, then you’ll have no problem fapping less. Don’t even worry if you can’t go straight to only fapping once a week. Eventually you’ll come to the stage where you don’t even feel like doing it even if you’re bored and horny. You’ll get to the stage where you no longer rationalise whether or not you should. You just won’t do it as much. But that’ll take like months or even a year. It’s up to the individual as well.

Going cold turkey or trying to say “I’ll limit to once per week or once per month” isn’t a good way to think about it. Just like anything, you’ll tend towards outcomes you really seek in the long run. And restoring good dopaminergic function helps the process in and of itself. It’s kinda tautological.
