It's like an open secret, some like Robert Downey Jr. got a little more publicity about it, because he's shorter and wears lifts absolutely everywhere, even in candid photos taken by paparazzis when he's going shopping, in vacation, etc. he wears suspicious shoes, the other actors seem to reserve the lifts for special occasions, award ceremonies, red carpet events, etc.

I guess Tom Cruise stands out because he is typecast in main roles for action movies that usually have 6ft+ leads. So it stands out when a 5ft 7 guy does it.

Don’t get me wrong, I respect Cruise as an actor and the fact he does his own stunts but the scene I posted looks comical.

He’s beating up a guy half a foot taller than him! The casting director probably had a vendetta against Cruise!

I think the Mission Impossible movies are fun to be fair.

ye ofc, some roles just arent for everyone, u cant put reacher(the one thats playing him rn the big blonde one) in a high class doctor role and expect it to work, same with cruise in these alpha beating up everyone roles
