Has anybody here (high iq) some experience with nootropics? What are the best ones?

Where can I learn more about them - protocols, how to dose, use them, etc?

I'm talking about brain boosting ones (performance, maybe iq)

never tried the raw meat thing, but limiting carbs and food intake in general has been beneficial. I tried caffeine in form of energy drinks but don't see that much boost, is coffee stronger?

I’m diagnosed ADHD and I’ve tried semax and selank, Adderall IR, Ritalin, and Vyvanse. And of course I’m a caffeine addict.

@Gaygymmaxx you might have some insights in this.

Only nootropic I wanted to try was Phenibut, but got scared from sides, people literally having crisis and locking themselves up in the room for months after ODing on it.

I use to take that recreationally when I was young

Now, given I was a drug addict in my youth..

I only know this to be true, but I have no idea how or when I took it, or what it did

My memory is statements :feelswhat: Kinda fucked

what would you say is the best one for increasing mental performances in non adhd and that won't fry your brain either?

Low dosed adderall IR or semax since you won’t get addy prescribed since your not diagnosed.

I've only dealt with the boring ones, caffeine, L-theanine, ashwagandha (not technically a nootropic tho) and Lion's Mane. I can advocate for all of them but Lion's Mane, did absolutely nothing, after some research on it too, I found out that there's no strong evidence either, I quit after like 5 weeks.

I've done a few. Nootropics are kinda weird because there is a lot of variability from person to person in what's effective.

For example Zeekie above me says Lion's Mane does nothing, but for me personally, out all the nootropics I've ever tried, it gave me the best results. Important note - you need quality Lion's Mane, some well known brands are complete dog shit and are literally selling you just grinded up rice.

Other notes:

1. You gotta be realistic. Nothing is going to make you feel like the dude out of Limitless
2. They work best when you're exercising your mind. For example studying something challenging. That's when you'll really notice the difference
3. Avoid the temptation to stack things together. Try one thing at a time and give it time to work.
4. If you're not sleeping well you're not giving things the best chance to work

what about low dose nicotine (<=4mg) as a nootropic (zyn / gum) ? Big entrepreneurs like Alex Hormozi use it too
@Hexmask @kingofkings @Kelly Oubre Jr @Zeekie
