I think that they’re just checking to see if you’re a real person/the account you’re giving them is really your primary account, especially since you mentioned Tinder… You don’t just have to post pictures of yourself though. A lot of people post photos of pets/animals, travelling-related stuff, or really just anything that showcases your personality or hobbies. If you don’t have any of that, it might be something to consider working on.

I agree; I think it’s more of a thing among insecure girls. They may be less attractive on the whole… I’ve only heard people echo that sentiment online, to be honest, but it was coming from enough people for me to take note of and remember it.
