I will admit that alcohol is bad for you and make no secret of the fact that I’ve been abusing it for the past several years. Even so, normies remain utterly clueless when it comes to understanding what alcoholism really is, just as they are ignorant about drugs. I used to look down on and despise drug users, but after coming clean to my parents about my excessive drinking, I can finally understand where they’re coming from.

The first issue is the bigoted stereotype that alcoholism is permanent and lifelong, that once someone’s drinking pattern takes a turn for the worse, they’re a lost cause unless they quit cold turkey. It’s like saying a fat man must give up McDonald’s forever and eat nothing but chicken breast and broccoli for the rest of his life. I suspect this is just normies projecting their own weakness onto others. I, for one, have already cut back by nearly 50%.

The second issue is that AA organizations have biased and hypocritical definitions of what problem drinking is. One example is how they consider it problematic to drink as a means of escaping your problems. But that’s literally the purpose of all hobbies and entertainment. Normies watch dumb TV shows and play video games to escape their bullshit lives, even if they don't admit it. Yet, this seems completely lost on them. Also, your liver doesn't care about the reasons.

But by far, the biggest bullshit is how they portray self-awareness and taking control as bad things. They literally argue that if you try to control your drinking, like reorganizing it to make it less damaging, it means you’re an addict and have a problem. Basically, if you do nothing, you’re a drunk, and if you try to do something, you’re still a drunk. There’s no way to win. It’s all bullshit. Taking control is a good thing. They have no idea what they’re talking about.

Not only are they delusional but plenty of normies are alcoholics in denial that’s what makes it even funnier

Plenty of them drink a whole bottle of wine plus some beers or whiskeys every night

lol yea this.

This idea that being self-aware means you have a problem is so hilariously stupid, because it implies that as long as you think nothing of your drinking, then you DON'T have a problem :feelsgood:

why would you choose alcohol out of all the drugs to abuse

1. Legal.
2. Affordable (comparatively).
3. More socially acceptable.

I told Chatgpt to write me a 'beer program structured like a gym program' lol.

Program Overview

  • Drinking Day: Fridays only
  • Unit: 1 bottle = 1 unit
  • Maximum per Session: 12 bottles
  • Minimum per Session: 2 bottles
  • Cycle Length: 7 weeks
  • Weekly Average: Total consumption of 42 bottles over 7 weeks (6 bottles per week on average)
This plan mimics a weight lifting progression: you start light, work your way up to a peak “max effort” of 12 bottles, and then taper back down for recovery.

7-Week Pyramid Breakdown

  1. Week 1 – Warm-Up: 2 bottles
Kick off the cycle with a very light session to ease into the routine.
  2. Week 2 – Building Load: 5 bottles
A noticeable increase from week 1, warming up your “beer muscles.”
  3. Week 3 – Progressive Phase: 8 bottles
Keep building steadily—this is your mid-cycle effort.
  4. Week 4 – Peak Effort: 12 bottles
This is your maximum session. Push it, but be mindful of pacing.
  5. Week 5 – Recovery Phase: 8 bottles
Begin to taper off after the peak, allowing for recovery.
  6. Week 6 – Deload: 5 bottles
Further decrease the load to continue your recovery phase.
  7. Week 7 – Cool-Down: 2 bottles
Finish with a light session, rounding out the cycle.
  8. Week 8 – Rest: 0 bottles
A dry week in which no alcohol is consumed before restarting the cycle.

Keep coping the “problem” starts with the first drink.

This whole post is a way of coping with your drinking and justifying it here.

Even taking a sip is a problem.

alcohol is the ultimate normie drug. it does nothing to me except make me drowsy and nauseaus. my mind is still completely sharp and intact, it only effects my nervous system. even so, why would i ever want to adulterate my perception of reality in any way with zero benefits? makes no sense. at least with videogames, you're doing something and deriving enjoyment from that. what does alcohol do except make your reaction slow?
