what i am about to write about is a really good example showcasing what @Alexanderr mentioned in this thread https://looksmax.org/threads/two-huge-mistakes-looksmaxxers-make-regarding-risk.293112/
FaceIQ just posted a video about his surgery plans.
all of the procedures were relatively simple; stuff like canthoplasty or fatgrafting, where the risk of serious life threatening complications is really low, and the risk of being "botched" is probably low as well, especially since FaceIQ would probably know a good surgeon.
what's interesting however is how most normies in the comments seem to think that these surgeries are a coinflip (50/50).
Most of these normies probably have really bad habits which have a higher risk of disease than any surgery, but to them for some reason one procedure and surgery is too "risky".
