A lot of people hate people who care about their appearance.

My Mam was talking to my stepdad in the car yesterday about a guy she works with who works out a lot, is tanned, and had just spent 2k to get his teeth done. They were both calling him "Mr Vain" to mock him.

Back in school when I used to do as little as style my hair with hair spray and a blowdryer, whilst everyone else didn't even comb their's, I would get mocked for it all the time even though I had objectively better hair than any of them.

Try doing anything that's more than what the ordinary man does in terms of improving their appearance ( something more than just getting a haircut and going to the gym) and notice how people will comment on it or make jokes. Truth is they just feel intimidated around them because they think the person will expect the same high level of standards from them and if they don't meet them the person will judge them negatively for it and that intimidates people. It's just showing of how insecure they are too about their appearance.

It is, but i'm seriously just tired to not beeing able to looking for a LTR due to school, and i try to ascend and cope by hoping on validation. At the end we just want to be happy, and this need a perfect LTR.
