I remember a month ago they were saying in SK media that North Koreans were deflecting from the battlefield because a "Ukranian source told them", and few weeks later the US confirmed they didn’t even enter battle.

Personally, i doubt they even allow them to socialize much with foreigners. Those soldiers have been sent with top level commanders and i'm sure they have an iron fist, they would never allow such behaviour like the article OP linked.
