I have never taken any form of steroids or anything to increase testosterone in my life, and yet here I am balding idk what to do I pushed my hair back and saw a huge spot on both sides above my temple and I genuinely contemplated suicide and I had a mental breakdown. What do I do?

I started balding at 18.

I'm currently 33.

While my hairline has receded some more since 18 (and the remaining hair on top has gotten thinner), I still have a majority of my head hair on top of my head.

I'm saying this as an encouragement. The fact 15 years after I started balding, I'm still in a relatively good position is promising news.

PLEASEEEEEEE NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Look into finasteride and minoxidil.

Some people will tell you that it regrew all their hair and then they banged 100 celebrities, others will tell you that it made their dick fall off and watch skibidi toilet on repeat.

Ultimately it's probably best to do a bit of research into it, so you have a good understanding of the hormones it effects and can make an informed decision.

I was super hesitant, and put it off for years, but then I eventually decided to give it a go and found I didn't get any side effects, so then decided to go to dutasteride 0.5mg daily, which is way more powerful, and didn't have any sides on that either. However, this is just a single anecdote from someone on the internet.

I'd recommend checking out Hair Cafe on YouTube because he breaks down the studies done on hair loss in a more digestible way, even if sometimes he goes off the rails a bit.

everything else is going downhill might as well overdose on something

Get a dermapen, minoxidil, tretinoin, ketoconazole shampoo, create your own topical finasteride solution of 0.01% concentration (check out youtube on how to do it) and if you're rich get latanoprost or bimatoprost. Min + Fin in the day, at night apply tret let it sit for 15 then apply your min. Follow at minimum a weekly microneedling routine and ketoconazole shampoo 2-4times a week really depends on your hair, personally I only do it once a week. If your balding is bad I highly recommend taking oral fin and monitoring your sides, if you face any, take a pill every other day, if you still have sides take half a pill every other day, and if you still have sides then I'd say switch to a microsage of topical fin. If that doesn't work you could fuck around with RU58841, a weak 5ar inhibitor like alfatradiol or a weak anti androgen like fluridil. I will say that a lot of baldcels say alfatradiol and fluridil are cope while some say it's enough to halt balding.

high iq answer. i got a question: im 20M NW2 with mediocre density and aggressive loss taking fin for 5 months oral 1mg as well as topical minox for 1 year. i hav been depressed and anxious since taking fin contemplating suicide at times and idk what to do. i decided to take a break from fin its been 2 days and i noticed like 50 hairs in the sink. im getting back on but idk wtf to do

1. Stop using shampoo
2. Use solid tar soap for body and hairs

min, ru, fin. fin maybe isn't necessary in your case. it's not so bad. good luck. also can use dermaroller

i started balding at 16 and im still nw2. my biggest mistake wasnt hopping on FIN at 18, id have kept a nw1 for fucks sake.

Switch to oral minox 2.5mg if you get sides switch back to topical but follow the above steps and boost it with tretinoin, follow the sides protocol I said above for the fin, definitely dermaneedle, if you’re a richcel get some PRP treatment and latanoprost/bimatoprost. As a Norwood 2 with aggressive loss I’d say ad RU into the stack for sure and save up for a transplant.
