I’ve gone through a ton of posts about nose size and facial structure, but there are a few things I want to be clearer about.

My nose by itself is decently big. It’s straight, but when I smile the droop is horrible. I can’t tell if this is mainly because of an overactive depressor septi nasi muscle or because my maxilla doesn’t give enough support. Before puberty my nose looked perfect, and now it’s easily my biggest insecurity.

I’m also using tretinoin, but I’m not sure if that’s actually doing anything or if it’s just cope. If it does help, how long would it realistically take to see results.

On top of that, my bite is pretty messed up because I haven’t worn my retainer in a while. I’ll probably need Invisalign or braces again, which makes me wonder how much my bite and jaw position are contributing to how my nose looks now.

Please let me know
