Nose shrinking

Im gonna buy Hydrocortisone tomorrow and I had a couple of questions

1. Is it only temporary effects ?? and if so how long does it last and if I keep using it for months will there be noticable difference in the size of my nose ??
2. I heard that it sheds your skin off (also is that what you actually want to happen ?) you nose and you'll be able to see your blood vessels is that true ? how long would that take cs I don't wanna have dat
3. lets say number two happens, can I just hop off of it and would the thin skin recover ??
4. if any one has done this can you guys post down below what type of side effects you guys went through
