MOMENT’S NOTICE​


It must have been nearing 2 AM he thought. In his peripheral vision he caught the site of a prostitute who wore a white dress and hat walking out from an alley across the street.

Her powdered face was white as snow but the rain had washed the make up from her darker bronze legs and arms. She was bent over tying her shoe laces away from him.

He chuckled and quickly yet quietly sprinted across the narrow street and hid behind a wall enclosing the alley way. He peered in and immediately made eye contact with her.

His pale face and sharp fangs immediately shocked her and, appalled, she and her customer screamed in shock

Her male customer was a burly man, who looked like a high class member of the aristocratic families of Borsov.

The man pushed the girl away and fled hurriedly like a gazelle down the alley and away into the night, leaving the girl to slip on the wet floor onto the ground.

She screamed for help as Vlad crept toward her bearing his monstrous ugly fangs
