I am on noshampoo and I my hair is still greasy. I remember when I didnt use shampoo a couple of years ago my hair got super fluffy and not greasy after showers. How do I achieve that again? Do I shower twice a day instead?

Nah, conditioner made my hair worse in my experience
wait so when you wash your hair in the shower do you just use water?

NoShampoo made my already bad dandruff even worse.

don't go for noshampoo all of a sudden. gradually reduce the use of it. your body will adapt and won't produce more oil.

THIS TBH
I successfully did no shampoo and now I never wash my hair
I used to wash hair every day but I slowly brought the number down
took me about 5 months to quit

Well I have not used shampoo for 2 months...
Do I do „reset” it?
I NEED no grease within a month

you started the wrong way ngl
you cant quit cold turkey
I would say shampoo 1 time per week
and slowly make it 1 ever 14 days and so on and so on

damn 2 fucking months and you're hair is still greasy?
first you should stop with that hard scrubbing that will only make the oil production worse because you are damaging the fuck out of your scalp. and yeah you're hair will get a greasy again at first but it will lessen. if it really is that dirty try using a conditioner. if it is still greasy than try a SULFATE FREE shampoo. start with twice a week maybe? and than reduce it to once a week and than maybe even once every 2 weeks and then eventually stop.

also the conditioner part, i use shampoo like once every week/2 weeks (depends if my bottle is in the shower and i have the time to do it). but i use conditioner almost every day and my hair feels healthy but not dirty or greasy after.

I only shower like once a week, if I showered daily I would not have had to worried about this

Any chemicals to avoid in conditioners?

I’m not sure if I have

this one has no parabens or phosphates, it might have sulfates

I also used nizoral, does that have sulfates?

I think my dandruff might be caused by dry scalp rather than fungal dandruff tbh, but every “fix” for dry scalp is just weird homemade recipes for hair masks

but if you want nopoo than reduce the sulfate shampoo as i said earlier lol

I see. Do you know how impactful sulfates are? did they cure dandruff for u? After looking into it i’m considering getting this one

Amazon product ASIN B01M0MO257
but wanted to see if anyone else had recommendations

i can't see the link you posted. from what i've heard and experienced sulfates dry the fuck out of your hair (especially curls like mine) and thats why i try to stay away from them as far as possible. i never really had much dandruff tbh. just dry and frizzy.

I'm 1.5 week into nopoo/nocondition but washing with cold water every day and my hair smells like shit

Do I keep coping?

You should alternate between warm and cold water tbh, maybe cold in the mornings and warm in the evening
