After a break from here, I realized that Nostalgia is what keeps a lot of us from achieving success. We look back at our former selves with rosy glasses. We were beautiful, charismatic, young, and strong. And look at us now, we are defeated and weak, holding on to fond memories of the past as if those people in our past are still there, like locked up pets, ready to play with us whenever our hearts harken back to them. But, the thing is, those people in our past have moved on, died, vanished, or zoomed right by. They aren’t just trinkets of a previous life — they’re individuals with their own nostalgia.
You can’t let the past consume you.
You need to mog your former self. You need to looksmax and make your current life better than your past EVER was.
Live in TODAY. Love every moment of the NOW. Because one day you’ll look back on today with fondness and wish you had appreciated it.
Good luck. I will give another lesson/motivational thread tomorrow.
