Not focusing on results, in other words, coping.

For example, someone may lose a game but then say “at least I had fun”. Of course, if it is a game, it is unimportant to improve at such a skill. But this mindset would lead to poor success.

Most people are like this in most aspects of life. They don’t focus on the result. When people read a book, they don’t focus on what that reading can inspire them to do, or essentially the only result that will matter in the future. When someone works at their job, they don’t focus on how much money they made (cuz it’s a set amount) they just reflect on how “good” their day was.

Same here. What is the result of being blackpilled and complaining? What is the result of being whitepilled and autistically facepulling (or worse, discussing facepulling)? What is the result of discussing surgery? Is surgery even the result? If surgery is the result, is it truly a positive result?

Sure, it would be if everyone had the capability to win and see results
People who win as kids are more successful cuz they focus on the result (winning)

Losers just start coping and being content with failure

Yeah it’s hard to succeed, u may be naturally disadvantaged, but copeing won’t help u improve. U can find something u can improve at.

Explain or ur copeing
Being rich doesn't necessarily push anyone to be results oriented at all

All the more likely these kids end up doing drugs and living in luxury WITHOUT NECESSITY, WITHOUT BILLS,

Hunter Biden nigguhs

As well as these rich types encouraging younger kids to do what pleases them

While trappas in the gutta rob and steal to get they check,

they gotta scurry like a rat for that cheese! Ya herd?

And so they learn to appreciate it!

Every one is optimizing for some result, but not every one has deeply considered the result they optimizing for.

Many people optimize for "Having a good day" and that is the result they are after.

Some people optimize for "Feeling like a victim". They enjoy that feeling.

Some people are optimizing for "Having Fun" and they are getting better and better at that.

True. People often optimize for feeling a certain way rather than an objective result. Basically detached from the world to live in a distorted version. Similar concept to drugs tricking the reward system in an unintended way. Coping, can be helpful but also inhibited.

Most people lack long term strategic thinking.

Limiting Beliefs

One cause is limiting beliefs. There are many people that don't believe it's possible for them to:

  • Own their own Business
  • Be a Multi-millionaire
  • Have an attractive wife that loves them
  • Have Kids
  • Go on Dates
  • Become a Chad
  • And so on.
Lack of Delayed Gratification

Another cause is lack of delayed gratification. They are unable to force themselves into enough boredom and other forms of discomfort to achieve their goals.

They can handle one failure, but not a hundred thousand, and in very many cases success requires a hundred thousand failures.

Risk Aversion

Risk Aversion is another big cause. People are afraid of failure. They're afraid of loosing all their savings and becoming homeless. They're afraid of being out of work for too long trying to start a business that fails and loosing experience that would allow them to return to their career.

In some cases risk aversion is beneficial, but in others it's under-estimating ones ability to bounce back.

like me. much more intuitive to plan for the day or the next day and hope doing this will lead somewhere good long term.

i am pessimistic about each of these although i dont believe them impossible, but this is still a limiting belief. even if i dont pursue these, perhaps i should still think of them optimistically as potential options if i did choose to pursue them

i feel like mine ran out, i use to be extremely delayed gratification now i am not. i never do anything boring. i cope saying its cope to do boring things.

i am risk taker , also toxoplasmosis makes people take more risks. im only non risk taker when it comes to mney, which is bad for becoming rich, however becoming rich is not my goal

I see them as connected.

If you're rich, it's easy to looksmax to Chad or near Chad.
If you're rich and looksmaxed, going on dates is easy.
If you're rich and looksmaxed and go on dates, then getting an attractive wife is easy.
If you're rich and have an attractive wife, then having kids is easy.

So the question is, what are the chances of becoming rich while you're still young enough to have kids, because after that, everything else is possible.

As of now, I think becoming rich is simply a matter of trial and error, and learning within a specific niche that can make a lot of money, until you've figured out how to make lots of money in that niche.

I suspect it takes something like, 100,000 hours to master a potentially profitable niche, to become rich. So, do-able.

Same. I need to do more research on how to increase delayed gratification. I know there's an area of the brain that increases in size when we get better at delayed gratification.

Ok, but you should know how much money your goal takes, because money is needed for most goals.

need to go to bed but my goal takes 0 money , my goal is wilderness hermit living off of the natural resources (not buying land and construction and food etc) my goal literally to never wageslave

for increasing delayed gratification u need to make sure u r rewarded for it rather than continually delaying it so that u learn NOT to do delayed gratification (reward nonexistent=learn NOT to do)
