You still need money to do stuff, and besides, aren't you in Germany?

Train, although sucks, can get you to most places

I'll move this year but I can't afford a house + car at the same time

You ain't pulling bitches on über that's embarrassing
If you use a taxi, then compared to your own car, you don’t have to think about fines, parking, insurance, etc.
Wide availability — in large cities you can find a car anywhere, anytime, in any weather.
Comfort.
But you should only choose a taxi if you won’t use it often — no more than 4–7 times a week. Secondly, the trips shouldn’t be long. Taxis have the highest cost per kilometer of all types of transport, so going to work or school from the suburbs to the center every day is an expensive idea (I usually take the bus).

A taxi is an efficient and quick solution. If you often travel distances greater than 20–30 kilometers a day, then it makes sense to look at alternative transport options.

I catch the bus but agree, even to get a entry level retail job they want you to have a license/car

ah okay, a lot of people use public transport here and bikes as well

I can see how not having a car in US is a falio since it's very car centric

I used to have a car. It was just a headache to park at night and a money pit.
Real, now I'm paying taxes on it, gas, and insurance costs me over 1000€ a year plus parking if I'm going to the city

It's really not worth it unless you absolutely need it

You just need a new face.
