the problem is that whatever cope you had to deal with it gets destroyed too. i used to clinge unto the idea that i could have had a platonic relationship with my old itis, JFL, it wasnt gonna end well no matter what i did, a girl still has to like you to have a platonic relationship with you, it just means she isnt available sexually.
it was a sad miserable cope especially considering that i met her off Tinder which is literally a slay or nothing environment.
i unironically was able to get this platonic relationship with a different girl though, it didnt last long and both of us knew it.
Im not relieved or anything now, i feel more empty and alone than ever actually.
