even after puberty, you can still theoretically have good results, especially if the muscles are hypertrophy-ed and excercise a greater strenght on the bones they are actually attached to. most people talk about thumb pulling/pushing, which i dont think are cope, since its a technique intended to take advantage of sutures in your skull (you can still expand your palate even at 30 years old btw) and the only reason it wouldnt theoretically work for some people is the frequency, strenght and age at which they do it, but i see face muscle strenghtening as important as thumbpulling or mewing if not more. face muscles are like nature braces and are incredibly important to the overall development of your skull/face.
