Being married or in a relationship just degrades you into a passive loser cuck going through the motions
Just a slave to your queen no ambition no longer goals
Happy wife happy life though right babe!

sexist cope. inb4 you cite autistic Newton, Beethoven, or Leonardo da Vinci for being the norm.
One can just as easily argue the opposite.

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (Married to Constanze Weber) – Revolutionized classical music.
Albert Einstein (Married to Mileva Marić & later Elsa Einstein) – Revolutionized physics with the theory of relativity.
Henry Ford (Married to Clara Ford) – Founded Ford Motor Company and pioneered the assembly line.

J.R.R. Tolkien (Married to Edith Tolkien) – Wrote The Lord of the Rings, creating modern fantasy literature.
Fyodor Dostoevsky (Married to Anna Snitkina) – Influenced existentialist thought.
Victor Hugo (Married to Adèle Foucher) – Wrote Les Misérables and The Hunchback of Notre-Dame.
Thomas Edison (Married to Mary Stilwell, then Mina Miller) – Invented the phonograph, light bulb, and motion pictures.
Abraham Lincoln (Married to Mary Todd Lincoln) – Preserved the Union and abolished slavery.
George Washington (Married to Martha Washington) – First U.S. president and Revolutionary War hero.
Steve Jobs (Married to Laurene Powell Jobs) – Co-founder of Apple, transformed technology and design.
Christopher Columbus (Married to Filipa Moniz) – Initiated European exploration of the Americas.
James Cook (Married to Elizabeth Batts) – Mapped the Pacific and discovered new lands.
Pablo Picasso (Married Olga Khokhlova, later Jacqueline Roque) – Defined modern art.

I can't be bothered researching more.

In denial low iq brainlet. You won't marry and you won't achieve even 10% of those listed men.
I'm also a 27 yo virgin so I doubt I will marry (I am too socially underdeveloped, sadly).

What about the fact that some of them achieved most of their contributions before getting married?
You can't prioritize both family life or work and innovation.
Something of both will always given less attention or disregarded a bit.

ChatGPT says you are partially wrong.

In favor of my contention:
Abraham Lincoln (Married 1842, before becoming president in 1861)
George Washington (Married 1759, before becoming a military leader and president)
Thomas Edison (Married 1871, before many of his major inventions)
Henry Ford (Married 1888, before founding Ford Motor Company in 1903)
J.R.R. Tolkien (Married 1916, before publishing The Hobbit in 1937)
Fyodor Dostoevsky (Married 1867, before The Brothers Karamazov in 1880)
Victor Hugo (Married 1822, before publishing Les Misérables in 1862)
Christopher Columbus (Married before his 1492 voyage)
James Cook (Married before his famous expeditions)

Against my contention:
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (Married 1782, after already being famous in Europe)
Albert Einstein (Married Mileva Marić in 1903, before his breakthrough in 1905, but his second marriage to Elsa was after his fame)
Pablo Picasso (Married Olga Khokhlova in 1918, after he had already made a name in the art world)
Steve Jobs (Married Laurene Powell in 1991, long after founding Apple in 1976)

JFL I spent a few minutes manually researching the above, only to realize I should use ChatGPT to efficiently ascertain a persuasive answer.

Yeah that's why I said some of them.

I could also list you many influential men that researched, invented or set things in motion historically before even being married, never married at all or just abstained.
What's your point?
Also the kind of marriages/lifebonds with their wives they had before can't be compared to today's "marriages", which are a great distraction and half of the time don't end well.

Well one thing is clear as day, if these people got married or existed in today's climate they or their ideas would get inhibited/down-regulated to some degree.

Not all men are subjective to their wives. That is however what you'll come across most of the time in the West though.

As for success, that's arbitrary.

marriage is a scam

Yes, modern culture (which denigrates motherhood and lambasts, and sardonically encourages friction between father and mother) and modern divorce and custody laws (where one lacks good lawyers or a prenuptial agreement), means marriage in the 21st century is largely valueless. For most, it is a net loss to any man's sanity and net worth. I doubt I will ever get married.
