Not sure if minoxidil (topical) actually causes dark circles

So I applied it for a few weeks on my brows and didn’t notice any change (in terms of under eye region accumulating dark circles).

Then I stopped it for a few weeks and didn’t notice any lessening of darkening around the region.

So in conc I guess it genetics based but more often than that it’s probably just a placebo. I mean I literally noticed no difference in terms of dark circles
