im noticing some changes in my hairline and see some hairs falling out when showering, sad enough
im getting an appointment with my gp when I'm back from vacation to get on finasteride

also looking into minoxidil and ru58841, however I'm hearing mixed opinions about these 2, are they really needed?

anyone with some knowledge in this field that can give me some advice? lmk

how old are you? if your young with hair loss you should defintely hop on fin
20, I am very likely going to get on finasteride thru my gp

im just curious about minoxidil and ru55841, what's your opinion on them 2?

Fin/dut should be enough. Minox and RU are a pain to apply and could have various side effects. I personally couldn't be bothered to apply some greasy foam every night.

fins apporoved by the FDA, ru55841 isnt. Fin im pretty sure is also more effective. Minoxidil will have the least effect.

I'm on fin personally but I'm considering switching to dut for my oily skin.
I would recommend starting with fin and check if you have side effects. If the fin stops working or you get side effects with fin you can always switch to dut.
