Hear me out on this. I believe that for ugly and or anti social people, NPC theory is very real. Someone who experiences small talk and short conversation throughout their whole life and never experience real human to human connection will never see humans as more than NPCs with programmed responses. Even some of the complex actions of humans seem sporadic or random. Nothing of my day to day world makes me believe that there is soul to action or if things are predetermined to be this way. This makes me think about my own experiences with people and lack of soul connection. For the longest time I felt as if I was the only real human on Earth and questioned why life was the way that it had been to me and how it was interpreted abstractly by me. I spent and still spend most of my life in solitude, only learning how to really socialize with people in high school. I hope to prove myself wrong on my little NPC theory and build stronger connection but being anti social for so long has been eye opening yet blinding.
