They were making fun of it and calling it "guys trying to reach unrealistic beauty standards just like women" or some shit like that. Why the gaslighting tho? Are they in denial? Are they unfamiliar with sex and dating statistics?
Moreover if it's really this mainstream and every woman is now familiar with it, are you gonna get accused of looksmaxxing as if it's some sort of underhanded method? The same way when PUA artists were popular before they got cancelled, women were getting wise to it and would call guys out on methods such as negging, etc.
