So recently I went to a college house party with some friends, it was pretty meh to say the least but worth attending, anyways I realised I was the only CS person there. (I was forced into cs and I’m in year 2 now).
Anyways I went to college this Monday and realised how most ppl in CS could barely even hold a conversation with anyone other than their friend group, I can assure you that most these ppl were Ltns and ltbs and one thing I thought to myself was meh they are not NT but then I thought, these people are probably not socially calibrated due to a lack of socialising. (I’m not saying it’ll make the, slayers but it’s important).
My best friend is non nt and is a diagnosed autist but is one of the most socially calibrated people I know, (obviously some ppl are high functioning so it doesn’t even matter) but it puts into perspective how crucial social calibration is.
A lot of ppl have shitty social skills especially a lot of men but you can’t say they are all non NT tbh.
