NT/Camera maxxing - what Iphone to buy?

What would you recommend?
And is it even worth it to buy an additional camera, like is the iphone camera good enough for instagram maxxing?
 
If the goal is to do a real picture maxxing, then definitiley buy a camera like Nikon or Sony. Can buy decent one around 500-600 USD and the add different lens etc. Options to customize them for particular need/setting are almost endless.

I only need it for good social media pics of myself. I dont plan to do landscape stuff
 
I have an iPhone 6 Plus and the image quality still holds up. Just get a second hand iPhone ngl

Buying an overly expensive smartphone which is mogged by the Android by a 1,000 various ways, just to increase his chance of being introduced into a social circle.

DSLM = mirrorless cameras that currently dominate the amateur market. They are great and much more compact than the large DSLRs.
I would advice a second hand Sony A6000 + a E 50 mm F1,8 OSS lens. With this combo you can make awesome pics of you and other things, just type "sony50mmf18" in instagram. Many beginners don't know, but lenses are more important than the camera for good pictures.
