How dangerous/successful is obo? How much can they move your eyes right now I have a IPD of 78mm and Byzygomatic width of 183.52mm which gives my ESR .425 and I’d have to get 3mm move outward for each eye, is that even possible to move that much? The ratio would be .457 for ESR with the surgery.

It's an incredibly invasive surgery. It requires coronal incisions, risk of damage to the optic nerve. Not something taken lightly.

jfl. Coronal incision shows you know nothing abt what you’re talking about since it isn’t dangerous it just looks scary. Plus with giant implants method for OBO there’s no craniotomy which takes a lot of the whole brain exposure risk out of the picture.

OBO is seriously invasive. For the vast majority of surgeons who offer it, the lining of the brain is exposed so it’s totally fair to point that out, especially as many won’t be prepared to go to Turkey for something like this. There are risks of damaging the optic nerve. It’s low, sure, but worth taking into account.

You’re right that coronal incisions aren’t inherently a problem but it captures the idea that it’s a very invasive procedure. That was my point. It’s completely non controversial. Whatever innovations Giant has come up with, he is not a surgeon, he is an implant designer.

I don’t see how this is the case. Surely moving the orbits has to inherently be more invasive and dangerous than moving the jaws? I’m not saying this to be a contrarian, just interested to know why.

measure your face properly first. you don't have a 183mm bizygo ffs.

183mm bizygo :lul::lul::lul::lul::lul::lul::lul::lul::lul::lul::lul::lul:
I had the scale length to photo length off so I re did some measurements and Ipd is 61.54mm and byzygomatic width is 144.78mm. It was late last night and I was definitely not thinking lol.
