Depending on whom you ask good looking North East Asians are either defined through being shaved down boneless held together with tape and makeup or chiseled robust ogres. A bit hard to find someone who falls in between being a blend of somewhat robust + soft features.

Considering he's now 57 and looks like:

He's probably in the Changlite - Chang for that age bracket. Considering Asian people tend to age much better than black and especially white people then he might be more high HTN comparatively if there's a lot of Asian men that still look that good at that age.

In his prime he seems like a pretty-boy MTN or high MTN.

Would agree that he probably mogs the hell out of his age bracket as he aged. Average 50 year old mainland NEA (and maybe some mainland SEA) guy looks like this.

Hong Kong isn't exactly north.

It's not part of South East Asia and North East Asia is usually a blanket term for anything that isn't SEA. It's also rather developed and not some jungle monkey state so I usually see it more in line with it's NEA neighbours. Specifics are up for debate though it's comfortable under the category East Asian.

In China Kong Kong and and Guangdong province are considered very Southern. Heck, Shanghai people are even considered Southerners.

And yes, outside the cities in Guangdong it's jungle. Same foliage you seen in Thailand, Cambodia, and Vietnam.
